We are excited to present this well-preserved and maintained 1986 London Roadster, specifically a 1952 MGTD Replica. Powered by a rear-engine VW and built on a square steel tube stock chassis, this model captures the essence of the '52 TD. With an all-fiberglass body, beautiful paint, and no rust to worry about, it features a reliable VW 1600cc engine that promises a delightful ride through winding roads ahead—just a cracking time, mate!
Exterior:
From the side, the Roadster showcases its elegant curves, highlighted by the cowled hood, rear-hinged low-profile doors, and a striking rear design. The fenders and running board attachments begin just above the shiny bumper, gently curving upward to meet the chromed headlights flanking the front radiator surround and grille. As they ascend, turn signal lights are strategically mounted, leading to the running board, which levels out beneath the suicide doors. The rear fender takes a more aggressive rise, peaking just below the rear tonneau cover before gracefully framing the trunk, which cleverly conceals the VW engine and a full spare tire. The stylish 15-inch chromed wire wheels with solid center caps complete the look.
Interior:
Opening the rear-hinged doors reveals a natural tan vinyl interior, crafted with stitched panels and convenient storage pouches. A natural tan tuck-and-roll bench stretches from door to door, complemented by a gracefully curved wood dash.
