1965 Chevrolet G12 Van
41,374 Original Miles
140 HP/230 cid Inline 6
3 Speed Manual Transmission
All Original Sheet Metal
Originally built as the successor to the Chevrolet Greenbrier, the G Series van was built for hauling gear or people around. The van either came with windows throughout or not, our van has windows but they were added later in it's life. All the glass is in good condition including the windshield, which is new. The exterior of the van is very solid throughout. The roof has a few waves in the metal as clearly something pushed in at one time. The metal is solid and fairly rust free with the exception of the rust behind the passenger door, some patchwork will be needed. All doors open and close correctly and most of the lamps and trim are with the vehicle. There are some extra parts included in the sale as well. The interior of the van is intact and relatively clean. The dash looks straight and houses the clear gauges, switches, and controls. The seats will need to be recovered, but they are complete. The optional 140 horse, 230 cid, straight six rests beneath the doghouse and is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. The condition of the drive train is unknown but it does run and will need a good amount of tuning to getting it back in order. This is a great restoration candidate that needs a new home and these vans are getting harder and harder to find, so don't miss your chance to buy this G12 today
